About Nightwish

Nightwish is a Finnish rock band led by Tuomas Holopainen, who also writes most of the band’s songs. The music of Nightwish distinguishes itself by an atmospheric background combined with a strong but melodic feminine voice and a strong guitar / bass / drums rhythm.

In Finland, Nightwish is not only a “pure” metal band; their music appeals to a much wider audience. Their fifth album, “Once”, sold in over 300.000 copies worldwide, thus becoming the second most sold Finnish band of all time (after H.I.M.)

Nightwish-Japan.com is a Japanese fan site for the Finnish metal band Nightwish.

Nightwish began as a small band in Finland and ended up taking Europe by a storm. Unfortunately, Nightwish is not so well-known in Japan (yet). Nightwish songs are rarely played anywhere, and information is also scarce.

This website is the English version of Nightwish Japan – a Japanese language website gathering information from the official band website, as well as from other sources. Both websites aim to provide the latest Nightwish news and information to fans in Japan and abroad.
