Spinefarm Records announced the scheduled release of past Nightwish albums as a box set under the title “Lokikirja”. The box set will contain the albums “Angels Fall First”, “Oceanborn”, “Wishmaster”, “Over The Hills And Far Away”, “Century Child”, “Bless The Child – The Rarities”, “Once” and “Dark Passion Play”.
“Lokikirja” is scheduled for release on November 11th.

Anette Olzon recently announced on her official blog that she will be recording a solo album. The tracks on the album will be composed by Anders Bagge, who has also worked with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Jessica Simpson and other famous performers.
The recordings are set to begin in 2010, when Nightwish will be taking a break from all activities.

Clips from the Nightwish song “The Poet And The Pendulum” were featured in the trailer for the new RPG “Risen”. The game, distributed by Deep Silver and produced by Piranha Bites, is scheduled for release for both PC and X-BOX 360.

The Exit Festival taking place in Serbia in July 2008 was also streamed online. The broadcast consisted of over one hour of footage.
